Welcome to the new website for Tyrcanol Welsh ponies. Its rather a ‘work in progress’ as I’m still learning how to edit, adjust and improve, and no matter how many photos I take, its never enough. Breeding Welsh ponies has given us great pleasure here at Tyrcanol for many years, and I hope the website will enable us to continue meeting fellow enthusiasts and making new friends.
One new feature of this website, unlike the one it replaces, is that its operated by word press. I won’t pretend I have much idea what that means, but one of the features is that word press is geared to running a blog. When the idea was first mentioned, it sounded alarming, and I didn’t think I would ever be able to run a blog. On second thought, the idea seemed more appealing, so I’m going to give it a go. I don’t know if there’s anyone out there who might want to read a blog from Wales, or if I have anything interesting to say, but maybe I’ll pick up the skill as I go along. Some of the blogs will be about shows, breeding and judging, and a few will raise some issues for debate – some of them serious, others less so. If anyone does read this blog, please feel free to contact me - it would be exciting to know that this first blog has been published succesfully.
